Name: Elymnias malelas
Family: SATYRIDAE
Description:

Elymnias malelas is locally not rare in montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 300 - 1600m). It is a good mimic of Euploea mulciber (Danainae).

Elymnias nesaea is not rare in montane forests at moderate elevations (Alt. 500 - 1300m). In flight, it is quite similar to Parantica aglea (Danainae).

Elymnias hypermnestra females in flight look very similar to Cethosia (Heliconiinae) and Danaus (Danainae) species, especially Cethosia cyane and Danaus genutia.

Most of these species can be observed throughout the year, with more specimens during the spring.
