Description: Euthlia byakko is very localized but common in its natural habitat. It is found in montane forest at moderate elevations (Alt. 700 - 1000m).
Euthalia lubentina is not rare in montane forest at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 300 - 1600m). Males are frequently territorial on trees at hilltops. Flight is very fast.
Most Euthalia species can be attracted with shrimp paste (Kapi), rotten seafood, and can be observed on animal faeces on the road.
Most Euthalia species will fly between April and August.
