Name: Hebomoia glaucippe
Family: PIERIDAE
Description:

Hebomoia glaucippe is common in secondary and montane forests at low to high elevations (Alt. 10 - 1600m). Both sexes visit flowers and males often come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water, or on Ixora flowers.

It is one of the biggest species of Pieridae in the world. Their flight is fast and nervous. It is hard to see when they rest on the ground with their wings folded.

Pareronia anais females are dimorphic and both forms mimic Danainae species such as Parantica aglea, and P. agleoides.

They can be observed from February until November.
