Description:

Most of this species stay in the understorey of the forest and are attracted by fermented fruits fallen to the ground.

Penthema males are territorial on trees. Both sexes are polymorphic, with f.darlisa a mimic of Euploea mulciber and f.binghami mimicking other Euploea species. In flight, it looks similar to the model.

Discophora fly very fast, only at dawn and at dusk at the edge of the forest.

Thaumantis diores can be seen at the ground level, its iridescent blue patches revealing its presence.
