Description:

Papilio bianor can be found in forests and other wooded areas. It can occur in suburban and urban areas if appropriate host plants are available.

There are spring and summer forms, spring form being generally smaller but more colorful than summer forms.

It can be observed by the river banks or on Lantana plants, from March until October. Females are rarely seen, most of the time only when laying eggs on their hostplant.
