Copy of specialist
Name: Papilio clytia
Family: PAPILIONIDAE
Description:

Papilio clytia males are territorial on canopies and frequently come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.

Both sexes are polymorphic and quite variable, mimicking the species of Danainae, the white forms resemble Tirumala and dark forms resemble Euploea. In flight, it looks very similar to the model.

Papilio slateri has single generation in a year. In flight, it mimics Euploea species (Danainae), modestaalgea and sylvester, very well. Males frequently come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
Markings are rather variable, and individuals without the white submarginal spots on the hindwings are found very occasionally.

P.clytia can be seen year round, while P.slateri flies only in march and April.
