Description:

Vanessa canace is locally common in montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 10 - 1700m). Males are territorial on trunks of trees or on the ground.

Vindula erota is common in montane forests at low to high elevations (Alt. 30 - 1600m). Both sexes visit flowers and males often come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.

Argynnis hyperbius is locally common in montane at moderate to high elevations (Alt. 1000 - 2200m) and is often found open areas around secondary forests. Both sexes visit flowers. In flight, the females are good mimics of Cethosia cyane.

They can observed from February to November (A.hyperbius flies only in November).
